KTM has launched its baby supersport bike the RC125 in India. The KTM RC125 has been launched at a price of INR 1.47 lakh. The baby RC follows the same design language as its bigger RC cousins, the RC 200 and the RC 390. However, the RC 125 gets a new black and orange paint scheme with new decals to set it apart from its cousins.[gallery size="full" ids="9730,9731"]The RC125 is built around KTM’s steel trellis frame, and it comes equipped with premium features such as upside down front suspension by WP at the front and a triple clamp handlebar. Shock absorption at the back is performed by a 10-step adjustable mono-shock suspension. A 300 mm front and 230 mm rear disc brake handle the stopping and the KTM RC125 also a single-channel ABS by Bosch.
The KTM RC125 is powered by a 124.7 cc liquid-cooled, single-cylinder, 4-Valve, DOHC motor with fuel injection technology that makes 14.5 bhp of peak power at 9,250 rpm and 12 Nm of max torque at 8,000 rpm. The KTM RC125 will go head to head with the Yamaha YZF-R15 V3.0.
